Creme de Caviar Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 8 oz packages of softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3-1/2 oz of black lumpfish caviar
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley finely minced
  • Toast points and fresh crudites

    Instructions

    Using an electric mixer, mix the cream cheese until softened. Add 1 cup of sour cream, onion, caviar, salt, and pepper, and keep mixing until it is well blended.

    Serve in the shape of a mound on a serving platter.

    The mound should then be covered with the 1/2 cup of sour cream. Sprinkle with finely chopped egg, and topped with the finely minced parsley. Chill for several hours before serving. Serve with toast points and crudites.

    Yield: 8 to 12 servings
